The CT Digital Media Network is a business network seeking to support convergence of the entire digital media ecosystem and designed to create economic opportunity in Connecticut. Members come from film production and media companies, content creators and technology providers, investors and entrepreneurs, research and marketing, and Web and mobile companies. CT Digital Media Programs consist of monthly meetings, frequent workshops and breakfast roundtables, educational events and conferences, as well as business networking programs designed to match resources within Connecticut's digital media business community.

MCAICT is the Connecticut Chapter of Media Communications Association International, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support media and communications professionals and industry throughout Connecticut. Members represent the wide variety of professions that comprise the state media and communications industry; writers, producers, directors, on-screen and voice-over talent, models, directors of photography, on-set crew, set designers, composers, audio technicians, editors, and Web site designers.

The Connecticut Final Cut Pro User Group is an Apple Recognized User Group that aims to build professional connections between creative Final Cut Pro users, independent filmmakers, students and video professionals who embrace the digital media revolution. CTFCPUG provides advocacy about the industry that encompasses all forms of digital media on the Macintosh, featuring a blend of professional technical development with the aesthetic of creating digital content. CTFCPUG will provide interactive forums for end distribution of digital content, be it for broadcast, broadband or DVD. We currently have more than 350 members and growing! |
